1976
Danvaegt A/S was established in June 1976 by experienced
and educated people with the purpose of producing
scales for industrial weighing. By the establishment
Danvaegt was aware of the fact that securing a high
level for industrial scales would require capital.
Based on this fact the company chose to develop
agricultural weighers and then create sale and financial
foundation for industrial weighing.
1980
During 1980, a modern, flexible pro-duction was
built in a workshop of 600 square metres at that
time. Further at the very same time Danvaegt was
turned into a limited liability company with Helge
Filt as the main shareholder, and it now became
a company being 100% owned by Danes. A number of
large grain -and feedstuff companies as well as
consultative engineering companies showed their
confindence in Danvaegt to use its products.
1984
Through the years to 1984 the factory was enlarged
to embrace 3000 square metres with approx. 85 employees.
In December of the same year Danvaegt A/S - and
thus further cemented its position - took over Aarhus
Vaegtfabrik known as the oldest and largest scale
factory with the sector of grain -and feedstuff
in all European countries.
1985
In 1985 Danvaegt A/S bought the company Odense Vaegtfabrik.
During a period of time of 80 years this company
had also been producing scales primarily for the
grain -and feedstuff sector.
1989
In 1989 Danvaegt bought the Jacob Nielsen scale
factory in Copenhagen. This factory was known for
scales for slaughteries. During the same year Danvaegt
changes all factories bought into the same name
in the way that Danvaegt appears as Danvaegt A/S.
Copenhagen and Odense hereafter became service -and
sales centres.
1994
The verification department of Danvaegt was in 1994
separated from Danvaegt A/S, as an EC approval was
desirable. This approval was given to Dansk Vaegtkalibrering
A/S (a company for calibration of scales) owned
100% by Danvaegt A/S.
1997
The biggest project for Danvaegt ever, the auto-matic
bulk outloading in Baarse, is installed in 1997.
It has a 4000 kg. moving scale, and is the most
technical and advanced system for outloading in
Denmark.
2000
Danvaegt enters an alliance partnership with PLS-Teknikk
Norway and forms a company VektTeknikk A/S Norway,
owned by the two companies. The main task of the
company is to sell and to render a service to the
Norwegian market within grain -and feedstuff and
the environmental sector.
2001
In 2001 a company called MESEPIA A/S, is formed
with the Dutch automation company, Datell BV. This
company is going to supply Manufacturing Execution
Systems for the grain and feedstuff sector.
